We’re on a journey to bring you the
world’s most luxurious teas
Our Story
Tea Pilgrim was born out of the sheer enjoyment of sharing in the act of drinking a hot and healthful beverage with family and
friends. Together, in company made of all ages, the people at Tea Pilgrim really enjoy drinking tea and wish to extend that
enjoyment to others by making available some of the world’s best teas.
We invite you to travel with us from country to country and continent to continent, savouring the flavours and delighting in the
stories of global cultures through the age old meditative ritual of drinking a cup of tea. Tea is the choice beverage to offer when
company comes over. With just a kettle of boiled water and an assortment of teas and tisanes, a host can please the palate that is
unique to each guest. It is the go-to drink when focus is needed for planning and organizing. It is the liquid that soothes and
comforts when life throws some hard punches. It is the drink that braves solace and encourages meditation in soul searching or in
quieting down the noises of our chaotic world. It is the beverage with a thousand “faces” for it can be a fun brew in a party setting
when served cold and infused with fruity flavours. Or oppositely, it can be serious, served, for example, with all the ceremony of
Japanese tradition. And then of course, there is every other purpose and application for tea in between. The sky is the limit for all
that tea can offer not only in the way of a drink. It can be eaten outright. (Uncouth as it sounds, we’ve done it and can tell you that
some are better tasting this way than others.) Teas can be used in cooking and baking, offering a whole new and improved
dimension to classic recipes. Still, nothing compares to the practical application of a tea in a cup as a drink to take pleasure in for
the sake of pleasure.
We’ve tried all the teas we offer. These are being offered because we like them all. Some we like more than others. Some have
“grown” on us and some are still “growing” on us. The saying, “It is an acquired taste” applies here. There is so much to learn
about ourselves through our taste buds. We have been doing this one blend at a time. We invite you to do the same. Cheers.
